This is a piece of art out of the Metropolit exhibit. Metropolis is an exhibition of modern digital art, with its roots in abstract minimilism and will be on display in the new dining rooms upstairs at La Chameleon.

You can see a lot of different colors mixed together in what seems to be a digital pattern.
The work is absolutely symetrical and has a distinct pattern.
The artist is trying to show a new form of art that represents the new modern era, Digitalism.
I think it is a successful piece of art. That's why I chose it. It shows exactly was this era is about.

The mirror... by Soo Jung Lee

This is a mirror I made with origami. The black, red, and white parts are made of paper. It is supposed to look like a flower. The little beads surrounding the inside are beads in shapes of flowers. The red petal on top is an accent I gave it. There's a hoops in top so you can hanf it anywhere you want to. It was a gift I made for my aunt.

1. Guernica

This is Guernica by Pablo Picasso.

The painting is all in black and white. You can see a lot of different people, animals, and things mixed up in this painting. But none of them are complete, you can only see parts of them. All the people and animals looks like they are either crying or screaming. They look like they are in a lot of pain.
This painting was done during the war. And it was the artist's way of expressing his feeling agains the violence in the war. I think the artist was trying to show the pain and suffering of everyone willingly and unwillingly involved in this war.
