Reflection
This class has helped me a lot in knowing in detail about different aspects of art. Reading the book every week and filling out the worksheets enabled me to learn more specifically about certain artists and different art forms. Going to the museums has helped me see the art forms that we had studied from the book. It let me see them from up close and get all the details. The presentations we did on different artists let me know more about their life and past. It was interesting to hear about different artists from my friends. All the team projects helped me get closer to my classmates and be able to share our thoughts and emotions. The art journal helped me learn how to express myself in more detail and with more feelings and emotions.

Art 21 seems to be an exhibit of modern art with the objective to make art more accessible and friendlier to the community. There were a lot of different interesting themes and I noticed that some of the art works actually fit into more than one theme. A lot of different artists and a lot of different art styles were shown on the website. A lot of the art pieces were ethnic and culture related. I realized that by showing different sides and styles of art, a lot more people could relate to it. The artworks were easy and fun. I especially liked “One Hundred Live and Die” by Bruce Nauman. It was presented under the theme humor in Season two. It was a new form of art. It was humorous but made you think.

Voodoo dolls
I bought these two "voodoo dolls" when I went to Lake Geneva. Each one of them is supposed to have a specific meaning or purpose. I don't believe in them but I just thought they were cute so I got them. They are made of string. The whole body and even the pants it is wearing is made outof string. Which I thought was awesome, the artist that made this must have spent a lot of time and effort to make each piece of this. You can tell it can only be made by hands.
