It hasn't rained this much in awhile. We had a lot of days of snow but the weather was arm enough today that we had rain since last night. It rained for about 12 hours today. Seeing my neighborhood after the rain was beautiful. People might believe that the day after rain is dark and ugly. But seeing the sunshine after the rain, and the sunshine coming through the clouds was amazingly gorgeous. I understand now why people say art comes from nature. I believe nature in itself is a perfect piece of art.

I agree- that warm rain today felt amazing. We haven't had a warm day really. Think about the painting in the Art Institute- Paris Rainy Day. There is some magic in wet pavement.
